Notice of application for a transfer licence to abstract (take) water

Network Plus Services Plus Limited have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a licence to abstract water from South Cheshire and North Staffordshire Permo-Triassic Sandstone Aquifer at the area defined by National Grid References SJ 78197 45504, SJ 78222 45500, SJ 78220 45526 and SJ 78198 45522, and transfer it to Hazeley Brook at National Grid Reference SJ 78234 45538 without intervening use.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

• 30 cubic metres an hour
• 725 cubic metres a day
• 50,750 cubic metres a year
• between 01 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
