KENT COUNTY COUNCIL AS LOCAL AUTHORITY

PROPOSED CHANGE TO ST. EDMUND’S CHURCH
OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, FAWKHAM ROAD,
WEST KINGSDOWN, SEVENOAKS, KENT, TN15 6JP

Notice is given in accordance with The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013, that Kent County Council intends to make the following prescribed alterations to St. Edmund’s Church of England Primary School, Fawkham Road, West Kingsdown, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 6JP to:

• open a 20 place Specialist Resource Provision for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or speech, language and communication needs from September 2026.

This Notice is an extract from the complete proposal. Copies of the complete proposal can be obtained from: Ian Watts, Assistant Director Education-North Kent, Children, Young People and Education, Kent County Council, Worrall House, 30 Kings Hill Avenue, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4AE. Within four weeks from the date of the publication, any person may send in a response supporting, objecting, or commenting on the proposal to Ian Watts at the above address, or email school.consultations@kent.gov.uk.

The closing date for responses is midnight of 11 June 2026.
