NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATION ACT 1984 – Brookland Avenue/Towers Close, Wistaston
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Brookland Avenue, Wistaston – From the junction of Crewe Road to limit.
Towers Close, Wistaston – From the junction of Edgewood Drive to the junction of Berkeley Crescent.
For specific dates/diversion routes, please visit One.Network.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 5th May 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 25th May 2026.
