NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK - FAWLEY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN OPEN FOR CONSULTATION

NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK - FAWLEY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN OPEN FOR CONSULTATION UNDER REGULATION 16 (THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING (GENERAL) REGULATIONS 2012).

On Tuesday 17 March 2026 the New Forest National Park Authority approved the Fawley Neighbourhood Plan for consultation over six weeks. The plan has been updated with an additional supporting document and consultation on the Fawley Neighbourhood Plan has been extended. The revised consultation will launch from Friday 24 April until 5pm Sunday 7 June 2026.

During the consultation, stakeholders and members of the public will be able to comment on the emerging neighbourhood plan and other submitted documents (including the additional supporting document).

As the neighbourhood area of Fawley falls within both New Forest District Council and the New Forest National Park Authority, the consultation will be hosted by both Authorities. Comments should be sent here: www.newforest.gov.uk/fawleyplan in order to be recorded and considered.
