(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic Resurfacing due to surface failure -

Maidstone Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between The Ridgeway and Horsted Gyratory System. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Maidstone Road, New Road, City Way and return.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 22 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 1 day (8am-6pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(STATION ROAD, RAINHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate an investigation to monitor flow meter readings to check for flooding risk -

Station Road, Rainham - to be closed overnight (8pm – 5am) to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of Signal Court. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via A2 High Street, Otterham Quay Lane, Lower Rainham Road and return.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 May 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to be carried out overnight on Monday, 11 May 2026 and are programmed for completion within 1 night. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CITY WAY, ROCHESTER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic Resurfacing due to surface failure -

City Way, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between The Fort and St John Fishers School. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via New Road, New Road Avenue, Maidstone Road, City Way and return.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence (8am – 6pm) on or after Wednesday, 22 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 2 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic for resurfacing due to surface failure -

Station Road, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between between Cooling Road and Rectory Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Higham Road, Buckland Road, Rectory Road and return.

This Order will come into force on Friday, 24 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 24 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 2 days (8am-6pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a water pipe to be replaced -

Victoria Street, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 37 Victoria Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Saunders Street, James Street, and Jeffery Street in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 May 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 11 May 2026 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
