Newcastle Centre Redevelopment Public Consultation Event
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is hosting the first stage of a
public consultation in relation to the redevelopment of the Newcastle
Centre. This consultation event is open to all residents, local businesses,
community organisations, sports clubs and stakeholders.
Date: Monday 20 April
Time: 6pm–8pm
Location: Newcastle Leisure Centre, Central Promenade, Newcastle.
The ‘Framing the Question’ event will allow the Council and their
appointed design consultants to listen to and understand the perspectives
of the local community before any preferred design option is developed.
Those wishing to attend the consultation event on 20 April can call in to
the Newcastle Centre between 6pm and 8pm but are asked to register
their attendance in advance by emailing:
