(BILL STREET ROAD, STROOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water mains fitting repair works to be carried out -
Bill Street Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Frindsbury Road for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via A228 Frindsbury Road, A228 Frindsbury Hill, B2108 Hollywood Lane, B2000 Cooling Road and reversed.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 13 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 13 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(LUTON HIGH STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic To enable anti-skid surface treatment to be carried out -
Luton High Street - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Beacon Hill for a distance of 75 metres south-westwards towards Capstone Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed via Capstone Road, Pear Tree Lane, Hempstead Road, Hoath Way, A278, A2 Rainham Road, A2 Chatham Hill and return as the works progress.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 13 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 13 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(EASTCOURT LANE, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable railway bridge repair works including brickwork repairs and vegetation removals -
Eastcourt Lane, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between its junction with Littlebourne Avenue and its junction with Grange Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Eastcourt Lane, Grange Road, Lower Featherby Road, Lower Rainham Road, Yokosuka Way, Beechings Way, Eastcourt Lane (and vice versa).
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 14 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 1 night. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Duncan Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 58 Duncan Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Gillingham Road, Ingram Road, Church Street, Pier Road, B2004 Prince Arthur Road, A231 Brompton Road, High Street, Jeffery Street, A231 Balmoral Road and Duncan Road.
This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 15 April 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 15 April 2026 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Moor Park Close, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic at its junction with High Street (A2). Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via High Street (A2), Meresborough Road and return in both directions.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 5 May 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 5 May 2026 and are programmed for completion within 2 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)
Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received notification of an amendment to the description of development for a planning application which was supported by an environmental statement and is currently subject to a non-determination appeal.
The change of description of development is advertised to ascertain the views of persons
living near the sites and other interested parties on the amendment in the description from
“2 Form Entry primary school” to “primary school”.

NOTICE OF VARIATION: PARKING AND PERMIT CHARGES
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, intends to vary the OnStreet and Off-Street parking charges listed in the Schedules to this Notice.
The new parking charges will come into effect from Friday, 1 May 2026 in relation to parking locations operated by Medway Council’s Parking Services.
All other provisions in the current off-street and on-street parking Orders, as amended, relating to classes of vehicles, days of operations, hours of operation, terms and conditions of use and maximum waiting periods remain unchanged.
