NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Flowers Lane, Leighton
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Flowers Lane, Leighton – For the full extent
The alternative route will be via Bob Brown Way, A530 Middlewich Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 20th April 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 31st July 2026.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Weston Road Service Road,
Crewe – For the full extent
The alternative route will be via Weston Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Wednesday 15th April 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 18th May 2026.
