BASSETLAW DISTRICT COUNCIL

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1982

Notice is hereby given under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 of the Local (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 that Bassetlaw District Council at a meeting of the Full Council on 12 March 2026 passed a resolution to amend its street trading policy and so pass a resolution designating streets as consent streets. The new resolution shall be known as the Bassetlaw District Council Street Trading Policy 2026 and shall come into force on 24 April 2026.

Copies of the resolution can be accessed at bassetlaw.gov.uk or at the offices of the Council at Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street, Worksop S80 2AH during opening hours.

Notice is also given under Paragraph 9 of Schedule 4 of the Local (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 that further to the resolution of the Bassetlaw District Council Licensing Committee at the meeting on 14 January 2026; the introduction of the following fees and charges are publicised for consultation.

Any person wishing to make representations or objections to the proposed fees & charges must do so in writing before 24 April 2026. Representations should be made via the online form at bassetlaw.gov.uk or may be made in writing addressed to the Senior Licensing Officer, Bassetlaw District Council, Queens Building, Potter Street, Worksop, S80 2AH. The Licensing Committee will consider any representations and make a resolution on the fees and charges applicable to Pitch Premise Consents.
