PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2023

On the 12 March 2026, The Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of that Order as confirmed is to divert part of the existing Public Footpath, Hanslope 11 from point A at O.S Grid Reference SP79745 46438 in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 282 metres to point B at O.S Grid Reference SP79570 46219, to a line running from point A at O.S. Grid Reference SP79745 46438 in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 17 metres to point C at O.S. Grid Reference SP 79757 46426, then in a general south westerly direction for approximately 145 metres to point D at O.S Grid Reference SP79702 246295. The route will have a width of two metres.

and on public display within a window marked Public Notices, located to the far left of the frontage of Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes during normal opening hours. Copies of the confirmed Order and Order plan may be purchased at the price of £3.00 by writing to Legal Services, Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Office, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, enclosing a cheque made payable to Milton Keynes City Council. Please quote reference PE-WL-028098.
This Order comes into force on the date on which Milton Keynes City Council certify that the terms of Article 2 have been complied with, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the 26 March 2026, make an application to the High Court
