CITY OF PRESTON (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2009


1. This Notice of Variation is given pursuant to section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and regulation 25 of The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (as amended).
2. The purpose of this Notice of Variation is to inform the public that with effect from the 13th April 2026 certain charges payable at Avenham Multi-storey car park in Preston will be varied:-
3. At the date of this Notice of Variation the charges are as follows:-
Avenham Multi Storey Car Park
Monday-Sunday (including Bank Holidays) Charges payable 24 hours
Up to 1 hour £1.30
Up to 2 hours £2.20
Up to 3 hours £3.30
Up to 4 hours £4.00
Up to 12 hours £5.50
Up to 24 hours £11.00
4. With effect from 13th April 2026 some of the charges specified at number 3 above will be varied. The varied charges are shown in bold type below.
