Local Government Act 1972 Section 123(2a)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to dispose an area of land off Manor Oaks Road, Sheffield S2 5EA which is considered to be open space.

The proposed disposal is intended to facilitate the development of 100% affordable housing of between 33 to 38 residential units. The development is anticipated to comprise a mix of one-, two-, three-and four-bedroom properties, with the precise form, layout, scale and mix of accommodation to be subject to the necessary planning permissions, statutory consents, and internal Council approvals.

A plan showing the land edged red can be inspected at Howden House, Union Street, Sheffield S1 2SH between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing, clearly stating the grounds for objection no later than 9 April 2026.
