ARUN DISTRICT COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of Section 38 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 that the Arun District Council, at its meeting on 25 February 2026, duly set a Council Tax for its District for the period of one year commencing April 01 2026 and ending on March 31 2027 in the following terms :

1. The Valuation bands for dwellings are as follows:
Band A – Values not exceeding £40,000
Band B – Values exceeding £40,000 but not exceeding £52,000
Band C – Values exceeding £52,000 but not exceeding £68,000
Band D – Values exceeding £68,000 but not exceeding £88,000
Band E – Values exceeding £88,000 but not exceeding £120,000
Band F – Values exceeding £120,000 but not exceeding £160,000
Band G – Values exceeding £160,000 but not exceeding £320,000
Band H – Values exceeding £320,000

2. The amount of Council Tax payable, as shown in the table above, may be subject to one or more of the following adjustments:
(i) Discounts, Disregards and Exemptions and Premiums
(ii) Disabled Reduction
(iii) Council Tax Reduction (Previously Council Tax Benefit)
