1st APRIL 2026
NOTICE IS HEREby GIvEN that Mid Sussex District Council, in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 53(2) & 70(3) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the following Table of Fees in respect of
Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing.

A copy of this Notice will be available for inspection free of charge from 9am
until 4pm at the Council Offices, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West
Sussex RH16 1SS until Tuesday 31st March 2026.
Objections to the revised Table of Fees may be made on or before Tuesday
31st March 2026, by email to
taxilicensing@midsussex.gov.uk,
or in writing
to: Lucy Corrie, Assistant Director – Communities, Mid Sussex District
Council, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH16 1SS
If no objections are received, or if all objections so made are withdrawn, the
proposed fees will come into effect from 1st April 2026.
Where objections are received and not withdrawn, the objections will be given
due consideration and the council will decide whether to implement the
proposed fees with or without modification, by no later than 1st May 2026.
