Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath CH23 between Lower Herne Road and Parkland Road from the 6 March 2026.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen in April 2026.
The path is closed because of the construction of a new path at the crossing of the Spine Road.
There is no alternative route.

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that on, 3rd February 2026, the Kent County Council (on behalf of Dartford Borough Council) certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above-named Order, requiring an alternative highway to be created to the reasonable satisfaction of the Kent County Council (on behalf of Dartford Borough Council) had been complied with.
Accordingly, the above-named Order has now taken effect.

Notice is hereby given that on, 3rd February 2026, the Kent County Council (on behalf of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation) certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above-named Order, requiring an alternative highway to be created to the reasonable satisfaction of the Kent County Council (on behalf of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation) had been complied with.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH SR341 (part), WESTERHAM)
PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above-named Order made on 28 January 2026 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 will add a new length of Public Footpath numbered SR341 with a width of 2.0 metres, which commences on an unaffected length of Public Footpath SR341 at NGR TQ 4514 5443 (point A) and runs south south-east for 144 metres to NGR TQ 4520 5430 (point B), then south-west and west south-west for 283 metres to NGR TQ 4496 5418 (point C), and then south for 62 metres to its connection with Public Footpath SR342 at NGR TQ 4497 5411 (point D), as shown between the points A-B-C-D on the Order plan.
All directions general, all distances approximate.
A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Sevenoaks District Council, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1HG office address or Gateway address or at the Kent County Council, History and Library Centre, James Whatman Way, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1LQ, from 10am-5pm. The documents can also be viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/prownotices or a copy can be obtained by contacting Maria McLauchlan (tel: 03000 41 34 20 or email maria.mclauchlan@kent.gov.uk).
Any representation about or objection to the Order must be sent or delivered in writing to Maria McLauchlan at the Kent County Council (address as below; email as above) no later than 16 March 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Kent County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above-named Order made on 28 January 2026 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the entire width of that length of Public Footpath numbered SR341, which commences on an unaffected length of Public Footpath SR341 at NGR TQ 4514 5443 (point A) and runs west south-west for 255 metres to its connection with Costells Meadow at NGR TQ 4492 5430 (point B). As shown between the points A-B on the Order plan.

Notice of extension of an Order temporarily closing Public Footpath MR144 in the Parish of Kings Hill

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 15 February, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath MR144 has been extended for a further 06 months, until the 15 August 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier
The path is closed between A228 Ashton Way and NGR TQ 680 563.
The alternative route is around the outside of the field to the north of path and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
