REVOCATION OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE STAND, CHURCH STREET, BARNOLDSWICK
SECTION 63(5) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976


Notice is hereby given by the Borough Council of Pendle that it proposes to revoke the hackney carriage stand at Church Street, Barnoldswick under Section 63 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976. If no representations are made by the police, public or highway authority, the appointment of the stand will be revoked. A copy of the plan of the location can be viewed at Number One Market Street, Nelson. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Assistant Director, Planning, Building Control & Regulatory Services, Pendle Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG no later than 20 February 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
