What is happening?

EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC CONTROL
SCHEME – LOADING BAY AND PARKING
PLACE – CHURCH STREET, ANTRIM
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make the Experimental Traffic Control
Scheme – Loading Bay and Parking Place – Church Street, Antrim for a period of 6 months.
The scheme will provide for a loading bay on a length of Church Street, Antrim for the use of
goods vehicles to load and unload certain goods to operate between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive. Vehicles are excepted from the conditions in
certain circumstances.
The scheme will also authorise a length of Church Street, Antrim for the use as a parking place
and prescribe the conditions under which it may be used. Between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to the parking place
prohibited until 2 hours has expired. Vehicles are excepted from the conditions in
certain circumstances.

involved may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at DfI

Inspection of the draft scheme and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
U407 MILL ROAD, NEWTOWNABBEY
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (NI) ORDER
1997 ARTICLE 7
Notice is hereby given that the, U407 Mill Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction
with Shore Road to its junction with Mill Road Roundabout on Sunday 11th January 2026 to
Friday 13th February 2026 from 9.30pm to 6:00am nightly for a period of 4 weeks.
A diversion route will be sign posted
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate a Whitewell rehabilitation works

B56 JUBILEE ROAD, BALLYCLARE
The Department For Infrastructure for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on
it by Article 7 (1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, has
made a provision imposing a temporary 40mph speed limit on the B56 Jubilee Road from its
junction with the A57 Templepatrick Road to its junction with the B94 Rashee Road and on the
B94 Rashee Road from a point 10m North of its junction with the U444 The Priory for a distance
of 255m in a Northerly direction commencing on
