Temporary caravan, campervan and
motorhome site in Titanic Quarter
You are invited to a pre-application public consultation
event to hear about proposals to provide accommodation
and facilities during the Fleadh in August 2026.
Location: Titanic Hotel, Queens Road, Titanic Quarter, Belfast,
BT3 9DT
Date: Tuesday 20 January 2026 (3pm to 7pm)
The proposal: Temporary planning approval for a caravan, campervan
and motorhome site, with ancillary facilities that may include
communal recreational spaces, toilets, showers, waste disposal
points, food, drink, tuck shop and coffee shop areas, site office,
waste collection, lights, storage areas and all associated temporary
structures and works
Site location: Lands at the Titanic Quarter, between Hamilton Road,
Queens Road and Sydenham Road. Immediately NE, E and SE of
Belfast Metropolitan College, approximately 150m SE of Titanic Hotel,
8 Queens Road, Belfast, BT3 9DT.
Providing feedback
As part of the Pre-Application Community Consultation (PACC), and in
line with the latest planning regulations, a dedicated web page for this
proposal will be available from 20 January 2026 at:
yoursay.belfastcity.gov.uk/fleadh
In addition to the in-person public consultation event, this website
has the facility for members of the public to leave feedback on the
proposal, and will remain live for comments until Wednesday 18
February at 5pm.

If you wish to make comments on the proposal you may do so at the

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments
should not be made to Belfast City Council at this time. Any
comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations
to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently
submitted to Belfast City Council, normal neighbourhood notification
and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the
opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal
at that time.
