OLD ROAD, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -
Old Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with New Road and the junction with The Mount. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via New Road and Gibraltar Hill. The ‘One Way’ restriction in Old Road will be suspended to facilitate access/egress.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 12 January 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 12 January 2026 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

BLUE BOAR LANE, ROCHESTER
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable pedestrian and cycle scheme works to be carried out -
Blue Boar Lane, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Corporation Street for a distance of 105 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 2 February 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 2 February 2026 and are programmed for completion within 6 weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

DILLYWOOD LANE, ROCHESTER
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Dillywood Lane, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of Stonehouse Farm. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Gravesend Road, Brompton Farm Road, Lower Rochester Road and return.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 10 February 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 10 February 2026 and are programmed for completion within 4 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Grange Way, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 1 Grange Way. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Kings Avenue and Maidstone Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 9 February 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 9 February 2026 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH, RS328
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary footway closure for safety reasons to enable construction of new development to be carried out -
Public Footpath, RS328 - to be closed between Frindsbury Hill and Parsonage Lane. An alternative route will be available via Frindsbury Hill and Parsonage Lane to the south of the construction site.
This Order came into force on Wednesday, 7 January and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works were due to commence under the authority of a Notice or after Friday, 2 January 2026 and are programmed for completion within 6 months. If the works are likely to take longer than 6 months application will be made to the Secretary of State for the Order to be extended. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
