NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Vicarage Lane, Audlem
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Vicarage Lane, Audlem – For the full extent
The alternative route will be via School Lane, Stafford Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 2nd February 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 13th February 2026.

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Nantwich Bypass, Willaston – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Roundabout A500 Cheerbrook, Shavington Bypass, Shavington Bypass Roundabout, Crewe Green Link Roundabout, David Whitby Way, David Whitby Way Roundabout, Savoy Road Weston Road Roundabout, Weston Road, Nantwich Road, Crewe Road, Nantwich Road Roundabout and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Saturday 14th February 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 22nd February 2026.
