Closed church building of Wiston St Mary
Diocese of Chichester
The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft
Amending Pastoral (Church Buildings Disposal)
Scheme providing for the closed church of Wiston
St Mary and churchyard to be gifted to the Wiston
Estate for religious purposes in accordance with
the rites and customs of the Church of England
and for purposes ancillary thereto.
A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected on
the noticeboard at St Peter and St Paul, Church
Lane, Ashington, West Sussex, RH20 3JX. You
may also access the draft Scheme on the
Commissioners’ website from the link to draft
schemes online at
www.churchofengland.org/consultation .
Large print and/or audio copies are available
on request.
