APPLICATION FOR MLA/2025/00459 EASTERN GREEN LINK 1 – UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE CLEARANCE
Notice is hereby given that Eastern Green Link 1 Limited, 1-3 Strand, London, United Kingdom, WC2N EH, has applied to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake the clearance of unexploded ordnance along the Eastern Green Link 1 cable route.
Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed online in the MMO Public Register (
www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register
) and accessing the Public Representation section of case reference MLA/2025/00549.
However, we will also accept representations via the following formats:
- By email to

or alternatively
- By letter addressed to Marine Management Organisation, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne,
NE4 7AR
In all cases, correspondence must:
- Be received within 28 days of the date of the first notice
[8th December 2025]
- Quote the case reference; and
- Include an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent.
The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the application a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
