What is happening?
Land at Whalley Road, Wilpshire, Lancashire, BB1 9PR – Disposal of Public Open Space.
Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended)
Notice is given in accordance with Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) that Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD intends to dispose of an area of public open space along Whalley Road, Wilpshire, BB1 9PR.
The area of open public space to be disposed of measures approximately 1.32 acres (0.535 hectares).

Any objections or representations regarding the proposed disposal of the public open space at Whalley Road, Wilpshire, Burnley Lancashire, BB1 9PR should be made in writing to The Head of Estates at Lancashire County Council, PO BOX 100, County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD or emailed to
estates.admin@lancashire.gov.uk
and to be received no later than 5pm on 31st December 2025. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
