What is happening?

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 (AS AMENDED) APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT: Land South Of Uppingham Road, Bushby, Leicestershire Application Reference 25/01587/OUT

I GIVE NOTICE that Emily Bishop - Mulberry Strategic Land Ltd is applying to Harborough District Council for outline planning permission for up to 900 dwellings, a primary school, local centre (including sui generis, C3, E, and F2 uses and a flexible community use building), open space, ancillary infrastructure and associated works (all matters reserved except for access) The application is accompanied by an environmental statement and the proposed development:

a) does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the applications relates is situated

b) affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area

c) affects the setting of a Listed Building

d) affects a public right of way

e) is a major development.

You can inspect the application and comment on-line using our website http://www.harborough.gov.uk/ planning. Alternatively members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application at the Council Offices of the Harborough District Council (The Symington Building, Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7AG) during all reasonable office hours until 15 January 2026.

Members of the public may purchase copies of the environmental statement from Jessica Herritty (jessica.herritty@ turley.co.uk) at a charge to cover reasonable costs for printing and postage.

All correspondence must be received within thirty days of this notice quoting the application reference number. All comments received will be made available for public inspection. Date: 4th December 2025
