What is happening?

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

The District Of South Cambridgeshire (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2023 (Amendment No. 21) Order 202$

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 61, 63, 64 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:

Prohibit waiting on lengths of Church Street Harston

Church Street South side From a point approximately 180 metres northwest of its junction with High Street (A10) in a south easterly direction for a distance of 140 metres
North side From a point approximately 180 metres northwest of its junction with High Street (A10) in a south easterly direction for a distance of 145 metres
Church Street (Island) Northside From a point 35 metres north of its junction with High Street (A10) around the junction for a distance of approximately 15 metres.

The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned and at Shelford Library during normal opening hours.

Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned, or by using the https://consultation.appyway.com/ portal, or by email to policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 7th January 2026 quoting reference PR1178.
