ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
THE LONG SHOOT (SOUTHBOUND ONLY), NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to southbound vehicular traffic from its junction with A5 to a point outside property number 287.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole cover and frame.
Order Commences: 18 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Watling Street, A5, Weddington Lane, Weddington Road, Old Hinckley Road, Hinckley Road, The Long Shoot and vice versa.

D265 OLDBURY ROAD, HARTSHILL
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Pipers Lane to Moor Road. In addition, the 7.5t weight limit on School Hill and Church Road, Hartshill between the junctions of Coleshill Road and Oldbury Road will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 17 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Pipers Lane, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common, Coleshill Road, School Hill, Church Hill, Oldbury Road and vice versa.

BRIDGE STREET AND CHURCH STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To provide safe area for demolition works.
Order Commences: 17 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Bond Gate, Bond Street, Newtown Road, Harefield Road, Newdegate Street and vice versa.

D280 HILLSIDE, HARTSHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Moor Road and Elm Way.
Reason for Order: Structural patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 18 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hillside, Moorwood Crescent, Moor Road and vice versa.

D14100 HAZELL WAY & D11160 BLACK-A-TREE ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Hazell Way closed 16/11/2025, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs between its junctions with Bermuda Road Black-A-Tree Road closed 17/11/2025 09.30hrs-15.30hrs Haunchwood Road and Hilary Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway/Structural patching and associated works.
Order Commences: 16 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: For Hazell Way – Bermuda Road and vice versa.
For Black-A-Tree Road – Black-A-Tree Road, Haunchwood Road, Tomkinson Road, Barpool Road, Hilary Road and vice versa.

D1600 WILLOW CLOSE, D1143 GLENWOOD GARDENS, D1598 WOOD STREET & D1176 GAINSBOROUGH DRIVE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Willow Close: 17 November 2025 closed in its entirety from its junction with Glenwood Gardens, Glenwood Gardens: 20 November 2025 closed between its junctions with Wood Street and Joseph Luckman Road/Reynolds Road, Wood Street: 21 November 2025 closed between both its junctions with Joseph Luckman Road, Gainsborough Drive: 21 November 2025 closed in its entirety from its junction with Glenwood Gardens.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works (08.00hrs-16.00 hrs).
Order Commences: 17 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Available diversions will be signed.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
JEFFREY CLOSE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties 1 and 17.
Reason for Order: To enable S.50 drainage connection works.
Order Commences: 1 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Where available will be appropriately signed.

NEWLAND LANE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole cover and frame.
Order Commences: 2 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: No available diversion.

D12740 ASTON ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from St Mary’s Road to Jodrell Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 3 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Jodrell Street, Midland Road, Central Avenue, Bath Road, St Mary’s Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
