U98S HALKETLEATHS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
What is happening?
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 to temporarily close U98s near Mill Burn, Castle
Douglas from 0900 to 1300 on 12/11/25. The closure is necessary
to facilitate repair to defective Scottish Water ironwork.
Alternative route available via U128s, A745, C48s, U98s and vice
versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian
access will be maintained.

may be made to Head of Economy and Development by email to
Planning@dumgal.gov.uk or via the Council’s website, as noted
above, by 13/11/2025 (Type A) or 20/11/2025 (Type B).
