Choice of School - Placing Requests for the 2026/27 School Year
Most children attend their local catchment school. However, if you wish to request that your child attend a different school, you must submit a placing request application.
The online application form can be found on the Glasgow City Council website at Schools and Learning > Enrolment > Placing Request.
Placing Requests should be submitted by early February 2026.
Before making a placing request, you must register your child at their local catchment school. You can do this via the website at Schools and Learning > Enrolment > Starting Primary School. Your placing request application cannot be considered until registration is complete.
