Notification of intention to dispose of an Asset of Community Value
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has been notified by the owner of their intention to dispose of land including the former allotment site in Rusthall, which is listed as an Asset of Community Value in the borough. The listed site is outlined in red on the plan below:
The initial moratorium period will close on Wednesday 19 November 2025 during which time a community group can request in writing to be treated as a potential bidder for the property. If such a request is received by the Council, the moratorium period will be extended to a full 6 months, giving time for the bid to be put together.
Please send these written requests either to business@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or to Economic Development, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Town Hall, Civic Way, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS. Please note that we do not receive these requests before the deadline (19 November 2025), the interim moratorium period will not be extended.
