LOWER RAINHAM ROAD, RAINHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable telecoms works to be carried out -

Lower Rainham Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 796 to 788 Lower Rainham Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Lower Rainham Road, Otterham Quay Lane, High Street and Station Road.

This order will come into force on Sunday, 23 November 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Sunday, 23 November 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (9am–5pm). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HUCKLEBERRY CLOSE, CHATHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable telecoms works to be carried out -

Huckleberry Close, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Gould Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Access to properties will be maintained as far as possible. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This order will come into force on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to be carried out on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (9.30am–3.30pm). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CANTERBURY STREET, GILLINGHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Canterbury Street, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between 60 and 62 Canterbury Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Nelson Road, Duncan Road, Balmoral Road, High Street, King Street, Jeffery Street and Skinner Street in both directions.

This order will come into force on Sunday, 23 November 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Sunday, 23 November 2025 and are programmed for completion within two days.

The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CANADIAN AVENUE, GILLINGHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable manhole frame and cover replacement works to be carried out -

Canadian Avenue, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between 25 and 35 Canadian Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Woodlands Road, Chicago Avenue and Toronto Road.

This order will come into force on Thursday, 20 November 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after 20 November and are programmed for completion within one day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
