Public Notice: Opportunity to Establish a New Free School

Lancashire County Council is inviting proposals from academy trusts to establish a new free school under the Free School Presumption process, in accordance with Section 6A of the Education and Inspections Act 2006.
School Specification Location: Former Whittingham Hospital site, Preston
Type of School: 2 forms of entry primary school
Age Range: 4 - 11
Planned Opening Date: 1st September 2027
Capacity: 420 places

How to Apply
Interested academy trusts are invited to submit proposals by 12:00 noon on 10th December 2025
