Issue of Safety Certificate for a Regulated Stand
Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 and the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987, a General Safety Certificate has been issued by Wigan Council in respect of the regulated stand located at:
Edge Hall Road Community Stadium
Edge Hall Road
Orrell, Wigan
WN5 8TL
The certificate was issued on 10 October 2025 to Wigan Rugby League Club Limited.
The Safety Certificate sets out the terms and conditions to secure reasonable safety at the above sports ground when it is in use for a specified activity or activities.
A copy of the certificate is available for inspection during normal office hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) at:
