TAKE NOTICE THAT a Petition to wind-up the above-named Debtor, a company whose registered office address is 227 Hylton Road, Millfield, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR4 7XA, was presented to Sunderland County Court on 15th August, 2025 by the Council of the City of Sunderland, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR1 3AA, (“the Petitioning Creditor”).
On 22nd September, 2025 the Court made an Order for Substituted Service of the Winding-up Petition, under which it was ordered that, :-
1. The insertion of a sealed copy of the above-mentioned Petition, together with a sealed copy of this Order, in a sealed envelope addressed to the Debtor through the letterbox of the Debtor’s registered office address is at 227 Hylton Road, Millfield, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR4 7XA by the Petitioner shall be deemed to be good and sufficient service of the Petition on the Debtor on the day after completing such service;
2. The e-mailing of a sealed copy of the above-mentioned Petition, together with a sealed copy of this Order, to the following e-mail addresses in a single e-mail by the Petitioner shall be deemed to be good and sufficient service of the Petition on the Debtor, :-
(a)

(b)

info@bradburyfunerals.co.uk;

and
(c)

accounts@bradburyfunerals.co.uk,

with service deemed as follows : if the e-mail is sent on a business day before 4.30pm, on that day; or in any other case, on the next business day after the day on which it was sent; and
3. The publication in the London Gazette and the Sunderland Echo of the above-mentioned Petition by the Petitioner in an advertisement confirming the presentation of such Petition and the time and place fixed for hearing the Petition shall be deemed to be good and sufficient service of the Petition on the Debtor on the day after such publication.
The Winding-up Petition will be heard at the County Court at Sunderland on, :-
Date : 27th October, 2025;
Time : 2.00pm, or as soon thereafter as the Petition can be heard by the Court; and
Place : Sunderland County Court, Family, Magistrates’ and Tribunal Hearings Centre, Gillbridge Avenue, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR1 3AP.
Important :
The Winding-up Petition can be inspected by representatives of the Company on Application to Sunderland County Court at the address detailed above.
Should a representative of the Company not attend the Petition Hearing, the Court may make a Winding-up Order in their absence.
