What is happening?

INVITATION TO MILLMOOR RIG WIND FARM EVENT – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SUBMISSION

ESB has submitted ‘Additional Information’ for the Millmoor Rig Wind Farm to address consultee responses to the proposed development.

ESB invites you to a public information event, which will have a summary of the submitted ‘Additional Information’ and provide an opportunity for local residents to ask questions of the project team.

ESB submitted a Section 36 application in November 2022 for Millmoor Rig Wind Farm, which is located at Wauchope Forest, south of Chesters in the Scottish Borders.

The Energy Consents Unit consultation period on the ‘Additional Information’ closes on

27 October 2025; the Energy Consents Unit may accept responses after this deadline.

The application documents are available on the ECU website www.energyconsents.scot

(Reference: ECU00003426). A hardcopy of the documents are also available to view at the Scottish Borders Council buildings (Council Headquarters, Newtown St. Boswells, Melrose, TD6 0SA).
