Brandon Road, Mildenhall - Temporary Closure to Facilitate Overlaying Telecommunications Infrastructure
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C617 BRANDON ROAD, MILDENHALL
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C617 Brandon Road, Mildenhall from the junction with Hombeam Road to the junction with the A1101 to facilitate overlaying telecommunications infrastructure.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Brandon Road, the A1065, the B1112, Eriswell Road, the A1101 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/10/2025 -20/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
