What is happening?

CHESHIRE EAST BOROUGH COUNCIL 

Highways Notice 

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Dingle Lane, Doddington And District 

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. 

Prohibition of traffic – Dingle Lane, Doddington and District – For the full extent. 

The alternative route will be via London Road, Bridgemere Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. 

This order will come into operation on Saturday 11th October 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 25 October 2025.

Proposal: Installation of a new flagpole. Creation of an internal gym with new curtain walling to rear of appliance bay. Creation of an external bin store to rear of fire station. Tarmac repairs to access road and parking area. External redecoration.
