Notice of extension of an Order temporarily closing Public Footpath CW89 in the Parish of Chestfield

(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 08 April 2024, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath CW89 has been extended for a further 12 months, until the 08 October 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier
The path is closed between Richmond Road and its junction with Public Footpath CW88
An alternative route is available and will be signed on site.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Restricted Byway ER19 in the Parish of Ringwould
In The District of Dover
Kent County Council
(Restricted Byway ER19) (Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Restricted Byway ER19 between Ringwould Road at the pumping station for approx. 200m northwards from the 01 October 2025.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it
The alternative route is either via Public Footpath ER3, Glen Road, Public Bridleway ER21 and Public Bridleway ER20 or via Glen Road, The Rise and Ringwould Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath ER57 in the Parish of Guston
In The District of Dover

(Public Footpath ER57) (Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath ER57 from The Lane to the boundary of the first field (NGR TR 3311 4475) from the 27 September 2025.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that an extension to the closure will be required.
The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is via the field edge and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Notice of extension of an Order temporarily closing Public Footpath ZR109 in the Parish of Bobbing
In The Borough of Swale

(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2021
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 26 March 2021 and subsequently extended until 26 September 2025, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath ZR109 has been extended for a further 12 months, until the 26 September 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
Reflecting an upturn in the number of recorded safety incidents at the level crossing, Network Rail have requested a temporary closure while alternative options are investigated.
The path is closed between the junction with Public Footpath ZR111 and Key Street.
The alternative route is along Sandford Road, Woolett Road and using the Cattle Arch to get to the northern side of the railway line and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
