Ballast Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Use by Foot Passengers
What is happening?
CITY OF BRISTOL (PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 6 (BALLAST LANE), AVONMOUTH, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the above order, made on 11th March 2025, has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 31st October 2027 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the Order has closed, temporarily to pedestrians that length of Public Right of Way 6 (Ballast Lane) which extends from Kings Weston Lane to Unnamed Road between Avonmouth Way and Boundary Road. This Order was required because works are being executed on or near the public right of way and would have expired on 26th September 2025.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kings Weston Lane, Avonmouth Way to Kings Weston Lane Footpath, Avonmouth Way, Unnamed Road between Avonmouth Way and Boundary Road and vice versa
