What is happening?

LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (TUMBY – VARIOUS ROADS) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order on various roads to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 8 October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 8 October 2025 and continue for approximately 10 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. 

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – The Causeway (Between Moorhouses & a point 382m South), Moorhouses Road (Between The Causeway & West Lane), West Lane (Between Moorhouses & a point 455m Northeast) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (CHAPEL HILL – DOGDYKE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 2/1) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

Lincolnshire County Council proposes to make an Order closing Dogdyke Public Right Of Way No. 2/1 in the Parish of Chapel Hill, to all traffic. The closure is required to reduce the likelihood of danger to the public whilst works are in progress in proximity to the Footpath. The Order will commence on 29 September 2025 and may last for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of footpath to be closed, if any, will be maintained where possible.

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Public Right of Way Closure Order – Dogdyke PROW 2/1 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (REVESBY – MEDLAM BANK) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order on Medlam Bank to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. 

The Order will come into operation on 1 October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 1 October 2025 and continue for approximately 7 days Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. 

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Medlam Bank (Between Boston Road & a point 455m Southeast) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (CONINGSBY – DOGDYKE ROAD) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order owing to the holding of the BBMF Members Day Event. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions as detailed in the Schedule. The Order will be operative on 27 September 2025 and apply at all times when traffic signs are displayed. Diversion routes for affected traffic shall be signposted. 

SCHEDULE – No waiting and no loading at any time Order – Dogdyke Road (Between Suffolk Acre & a point 1500m Southwest) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (CHAPEL HILL – DOGDYKE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 1050/1 & DOGDYKE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 1/1) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

Lincolnshire County Council has made an Order closing Dogdyke Public Right of Way No. 1050/1 & Dogdyke Public Right of Way No. 1/1 in the Parish of Chapel Hill, to all traffic. The closure is required to reduce the likelihood of danger to the public whilst works are in progress in proximity to the Footpath. The Order will commence on 22 September 2025 and may last for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of footpath to be closed, if any, will be maintained where possible.

SCHEDULE – Public Right of Way Closure Order – Dogdyke PROW 1050/1, Dogdyke PROW 1/1 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (STICKFORD – KEAL BANK) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Keal Bank to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 30 September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 30 September 2025 and continue for approximately 7 days Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays.

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Keal Bank (Between Fen Road & a point 445m Northeast) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (NEW YORK – SANDY BANK/TUMBY MOORSIDE ROAD) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Sandy Bank/Tumby Moorside Road to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 29 September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 29 September 2025 and continue for approximately 18 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays.

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Sandy Bank/Tumby Moorside Road (Between Sandy Bank Road & a point 1400m North) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (OLD BOLINGBROKE/WEST KEAL – KEAL HILL & HALL LANE) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Keal Hill & Hall Lane to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 29 September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 29 September 2025 and continue for approximately 3 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. 

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Keal Hill (Between 317m Northwest & 52m East of Hall Lane), Hall Lane (Between Keal Hill & a point 118m South) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (OLD BOLINGBROKE – HORNCASTLE HILL ROAD) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Horncastle Hill Road to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 29 September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 29 September 2025 and continue for approximately 10 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. 

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Horncastle Hill Road (Between 751m & 1500m Southeast of Lusby Road) 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (TIMBERLAND DALES – TIMBERLAND DROVE) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Timberland Drove to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 17 September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 17 September 2025 and continue for approximately 8 days. 

Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays.

The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. 

SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Timberland Drove (Between Gas Distribution Station & a point 200m East)
