What is happening?
(C8N LOW ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the C8n Low Road, Tinwald between the junction of Kirk Brae and Ivy Cottage from 8am on 11/09/25 – 7pm on 15/09/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate new pole installation works. Alternative route available via Kirk Brae, A701(T), Catherinefield Road, A709, Low Road and vice versa. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U105N WOODSIDE - RACKS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U105n Racks Road, Racks at the railway bridge from 13/09/25 – 20/09/25 (2200 – 0800 nightly). The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of anti-climb panels on parapet wall. No alternative route available. Local access will be maintained. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U595N SANDYPOINT ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U595n Sandypoint Road, Dumfries at the side of No.17 Tipperwuppy Drive from 0930 – 2100 on 16/09/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate ironwork repairs. No Alternative route available. Local access will be maintained. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
