Station Road, East – Whittlesford - Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places

The District Of South Cambridgeshire (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions And Street Parking Places) Order 2023 (Amendment No. 5) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that on 3rd of September 2025 the Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers the effect of which is to: Introduce residents’ permit holders only parking in Station Road, East – Whittlesford, which will operate between Mon-Fri 9am-5pm; the cost of a permit being £54. The existing restriction of waiting Mon-Fri 11.30am-12.30pm (1 hour) will be revoked.
Further prohibitions of waiting will be introduced to prevent parking at nearby accesses.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 3rd of September 2025 together with a map showing the effects of the Order and a Statement of the Reasons for having made the Order, may be inspected at the office of the undersigned and at the Cambridgeshire Highways, Stanton Way, Stukeley Meadows Industrial Estate, Huntingdon PE29 6PY.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 3rd of September apply to the High Court for this purpose.
