(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Restricted Byway ER19 between Ringwould Road at the pumping station for approx. 200m northwards from the 01 October 2025
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is either via Public Footpath ER3, Glen Road, Public Bridleway ER21 and Public Bridleway ER20 or via Glen Road, The Rise and Ringwould Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath ER57 from The Lane to the boundary of the first field from the 27 September 2025.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is via the field edge and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

(PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY HE145 (PART) STOWTING)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above-named Order made on 27 August 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert theentire width of that length of public bridleway numbered HE145, which commences from a point on the existing line of the way at NGR TR1255 4402 (Point A) and then running south easterly through south south-westerly for 84 metres to its connection with the main highway (D1685) at NGR TR1255 4394 (Point B). As indicated on the Order Plan between the points A and B. And will provide a new length of public bridleway numbered HE145, with a width of 3 metres, which commences at the afore mentioned Point A (NGR TR1255 4402) then running south easterly, through south south-westerly for 106 metres to its connection with the main highway (D1685) at NGR TR 1256 4393 (Point C). As indicated on the Order Plan between the points A and C.
All directions general, all distances approximate.
A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of the Folkestone and Hythe District Council, Civic Centre, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, CT20 2QY or at the Kent County Council, History and Library Centre, James Whatman Way, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1LQ, from 10am-5pm. The documents can also be viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/prownotices or a copy can be obtained by contacting Mr Chris Wade(Tel:03000 423 475 or email chris.wade@kent.gov.uk).
Any representation about or objection to the Order must be sent or delivered in writing to Chris Wade at the Kent County Council (address as below; email as above) no later than 2nd October 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Kent County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Notice of extension of an Order temporarily closing Restricted Byway KH433 in the Parish of Lenham

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 08 March 2021, and subsequently extended until 08 September 2025, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Restricted Byway KH433 has been extended for a further 18 months, until the 08 March 2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier
The path is closed between Old Ashford Road and
the A20.
The alternative route will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath MT2 between its junction with Public Footpath MT9 and Public Footpath MT10 from 08 September 2025
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 24 December 2025
The path is to be closed because of work to replace the A21 footbridge

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath WS24 between Edward Street and London Road from the 5 September 2025
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 17 October 2025
The path is closed because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the highway.
The alternative route is via the public footway along Holden Park Road or Forge Road.
