U6503 Studlands Park Avenue and Willie Snaith Road - Temporary Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6503 STUDLANDS PARK AVENUE AND WILLIE SNAITH ROAD, NEWMARKET 

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads: 

• U6503 Studlands Park Avenue, Newmarket from Willie Snaith Road to Exning Road 

• U6503 Willie Snaith Road, Newmarket from Studlands Park Avenue to Wickes Store. 

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. 

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. 

The diversion route will be the B1103, Windmill Hill, Exning, the A142, Willie Snaith Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/09/2025 -27/09/2025 from 7pm - 5am. If necessary, the order mail remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister. Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 6 6 6171.
