PUBLIC NOTICE

ST MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS CHURCH MIDDLETON TYAS – HEADSTONES DAMAGED BY FALLEN BEECH TREE

On 7 December 2024, a Beech tree came down during Storm Darragh, falling into the North graveyard and damaging 27 headstones. The church has no record of living relatives who may be descendants of those buried whose headstones need repair. The table below gives details of the inscriptions on the headstones giving the names and date of death.

Any relative of those named in the table are asked to contact Steve Hill, a member of the church council, on 01325377700 or by e mail at stevehillconsult@btconnect.com to discuss the arrangements for repair.
