What is happening?

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bridleway BK-523, Beckford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 13 February 2025 the effect of which is to close Bridleway BK-523 for its entire length which was due to expire on 24 August 2025 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 24 August 2026 whichever is sooner. 

Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made to enable upgrade construction works at the sewage treatment plant and the installation of three new reed beds and other mechanical equipment. 

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
