Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Byway Open to All Traffic AW358 in the Parish of Bethersden

In The Borough of Ashford

(Byway Open to All Traffic AW358)
(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Byway Open to All Traffic AW358 between Pluckley Road and Tippetts Lane from the 01 September 2025

The way will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 08 September 2025.

The way is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.

There is no alternative route.

Notice of extension of an Order temporarily closing Public Footpath ZR117 in the Parish of Borden

(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2024

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 07 September 2024, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath ZR117 has been extended for a further 6 months, until the 07 March 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

The path is closed between Chestnut Street and Public Footpath ZR118

The alternative route is via Chestnut Street and School Lane and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Notice of the intention to make an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath MR17 in the Parish of Wouldham

In The Borough of Tonbridge & Malling

(Public Footpath MR17)
(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath MR17 between New Court Road and Old Church Road from 22 September 2025

The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 31 October 2025

The path is closed because of repairs to the embankment An alternative route is available via Public Bridleway MR10
