Section 121(2)
1. NOTICE is hereby given for the purposes of Section 121(2) of the Charities Act 2011 that The District Council of Adur (“the Council”) acting as trustee of the charity known as Adur Recreation Ground (Charity No. 271495) proposes to dispose of, by way of lease, land and buildings known as Adur Outdoor Activities Centre, Brighton Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5LT.
2. The intended disposal will be by way of the grant of a lease for 20 years for the provision of a combination of educational, sports, recreational and leisure uses for the benefit of the inhabitants of Shoreham-by-Sea and the public generally.
3. A plan showing the land concerned may be inspected at the offices of the Council at The Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing West Sussex BN11 1HA and The Shoreham Centre 2 Pond Road Shoreham by Sea West Sussex BN43 5WU between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 9.00am and 4.00pm on Friday (public holidays excepted).
4. Persons wishing to make representations relating to the said intended lease should do so in writing to the Assistant Director of Place and Economy, Adur and Worthing Councils, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA - ref. AOAC lease - or by email to

to be received no later than 5pm on Monday 22 September 2025.
