Notice

Location: Unit 6, Longwood Retail Park, Newtownabbey, BT37 9UF
An in-person Pre-Application Community Consultation event was
held at the Valley Leisure Centre Conference Room, 40 Church Road,
Newtownabbey BT36 7LJ on Thursday 31st July 2025 from 3pm to
7pm to allow interested parties to view the display boards for the
proposal and provide feedback via printed comment cards. As part
of the pre-application community consultation, information on the
proposal is now available online. You can view the display boards,
plans, supporting information, and provide feedback by visiting:

This website will go live Friday 22nd August,
and will be active for a minimum of 28 days.

If you wish to make comments on the proposal, you can do so via
the above website and/or in writing to the community consultation
team no later than 5pm Monday 22nd September 2025.

Proposal: Proposed alterations, reconfiguration and subdivision of
existing unit to provide 3 no. units, including bulky goods retail, leisure

swim facility and gym.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. Any comments made to the prospective
applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is
subsequently submitted to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, normal
neighbourhood notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have
the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time
