Notification of intention to dispose of an Asset of Community Value

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has been notified, by the owner of their intention to dispose of the land adjacent to St Mark’s Recreation Ground (bordered by properties on Dukes Drive and Forest Road), which is listed as an Asset of Community Value in the borough.

The initial moratorium period will close on Saturday 23 August 2025 during which time a community group can request in writing to be treated as a potential bidder for the property. If such a request is received by the Council, the moratorium period will be extended to a full 6 months, giving time for the bid to be put together.
