What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(BRUNSWICK STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to; 

(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Brunswick Street from its junction with West Church Street in a Northerly direction for a distance of 100 metres 

(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Brunswick Street from its junction with West Church Street in a Northerly direction for a distance of 100 metres. 

The Order is required to facilitate resurfacing within the carriageway. 

The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 18th August 2025 until 23:59 on the 5th September 2025. 

The alternative route for vehicles will be via West Church Street, Coomassie Street, Cartridge Street & vice versa.
